BTK killer Wichita Kansas - Narciccist or not?

BTK killer Wichita Kansas - Narcissist or not?

What is a Narcissist? - Typical traits include:

  1. Total lack of empathy for anyone except themselves - In the BTK killer case the serial killing act itself, the subsequent bragging, as demonstrated by sending photographs, letters, crime scene memorabilia to the Wichita Kansas police authorities using the acronym Bill Thomas Killman.
  2. A facade that diplays the right emotion at the right time enabling them to manipulate others in that they "appear to others as they want others to see them", whether it be that of a caring and loving family man, prominant member of a local community, successful businessman. The BTK killer Wichita kansas was an active member of his 200 fold church congregation and was seen as having a positive influence on the communities youth in his role as a cub scout leader.
  3. "The narcissist is a often co-morbid and suffers from illnesses/problems of a psychological nature.
  4. A Narcissists will devote consummate energy, determination and commitment to their skill of self promotion and making it believable; leaning towards those who buy into the persona and away from the ones that don't.
  5. The need for total control in all aspects of their everyday working and family life is of the uttermost priority. Family members may not have seen the BTK serial killer but they would have seen the traits of a narcissist for sure. In BTK's case he was once seen measuring the length of a neighbors grass with a tape measure and seemed to enjoy issuing citations for minor misdemeanors to Park city's residents...
  6. The narcissist may be in a relationship with an "Inverted Narcissist": a person who is demanding, submissive, fears abandonment, displays immature behavior in desperately attempting to continue their relationship with the narcissist who they rely and depend.

The personality traits above are not an indicator that suggests the person who has them is a serial killer capable of the most gruesome, savage, murderous crimes but there is a definite correlation amongst serial killers and without a doubt in the case of BTK killer Wichita Kansas.
